Nikon will release the Nikon D40 DSLR which will be Nikon’s offering to the amateur photographer who has been bitten by the photography bug. Measuring 94mm × 126mm x 64mm, the Nikon D40 would be smaller and lighter compared to older bro D50. However, this camera also will have a 6.1MP resolution and some other features like 2.5 inch LCD, 3 AF points, 3 metering modes, USB 2.0., i-TTL compatible, 1/500 Flash Sync and SD, SD-HC support.
