Lee Ann was a more-than-average girl with a slightly different taste than most people. She was a top student with a passion for reading Bob Ong books, and getting a scholarship during her college years, not to mention having a knack of blending into crowds to not get that noticed because of her shyness.

Two years ago, because of the persistence of other people, she began her modeling career through AkoModelo.com and discovered her talent. She started to expose herself further through the internet by creating her own online portfolio at Multiply.com to enable herself to model more and advance her seemingly budding career further.

Way back before she started modeling, she wanted to be a teacher because her capabilities but in time she wanted to be more free with what she wanted to do so she pursued Mass Communication to interact with other people. During her last two years in college, she became a DJ at a local radio station in her hometown, Laguna, and did a bit of advertising as a commercial host. Not only that, she also wanted to do journalism, to be a PR officer and be a writer which she couldn’t pursue due to certain factors. Nevertheless, after graduating, she ended up working as an executive officer. During this phase in her life, she also was doing her modeling career.

CgeNa asked why she chose to stick with her modeling career unlike the other seemingly haphazard career paths she chose. She replied that she won’t be planning to stay in modeling for long: “Modeling is just another step for me. Like I said, it’s just a hobby; it relieves my stress and gives me a challenge but more importantly, it helps me learn from different people because it requires you to go out more.” Although there are times that she feels the dog-eat-dog world of the modeling business (like one time during a fashion show wherein someone hid her shoes), she doesn’t let that faze her.

"What I love about modeling is the location shoots and the people I work with. I get to see so many beautiful places while learning how to photo or do make up,” she explains to show how she wanted to learn how to work behind the scenes of a photo shoot by being the model. Finally, CgeNa asked her where she would be in 5 years time and she answered with this: “I’ll probably be the one taking photos, putting the make-up, or travel around the world…or maybe all of the above! Anything is possible."
